Give me a car, some cameras, and a few weeks to drive around to see what I can find, and I’m about as happy as I can be. Living in New York at the time, these photos were taken mostly on road trips out west, both north and south, and the New England states. These are places I found myself returning to time and time again as if the photo sirens would call to me every few years to show me how places that had not changed for thousands of years could still look so different every time you see them.
