Photographer Peter Bennett photographed the East Village and Lower East Side during the early 1980s. Bartending by night and shooting by day, Peter captured the colorful street life of St. Mark's Place, the dystopian landscapes of Alphabet City, the unique shops, cafes, and clubs, and the music and art world. These photographs, mostly taken on Kodachrome color slide film, show what everyday life was really like in this eclectic community. 158 pages, 143 photographs. All books will be signed.

Please Note: The shipping rates do not include any local taxes, tariffs or customs duty fees, these may be added during delivery. Because of this, I cannot issue any refunds because of the high fees that may affect you locally. So before ordering I would find out what, if any fees there are for your area.

Also, because the shipping method I will use does not accept insurance, I cannot issue refunds for damaged books delivered by local mail carriers. So, please know there may be some risk involved in these orders. I apologize and hope you understand.
